Description
A prospectus, with programmes, for the Haslemere Festival of Chamber Music given between 20 July and 1 August 1931 at Haslemere Hall, Surrey, under the direction of Arnold Dolmetsch.
In addition to programmes for the performances listed below, this document includes lists of the players, singers and dancers and of the instruments to be used at the Festival. There are historical notes to accompany certain of the performances.

Bound as tract 1 of this document is a prospectus for the Haslemere Festival of 1929 (19-31 August), given at the same venue, also under the direction of Arnold Dolmetsch. Although this does not include full programmes for the performances, there is a List of the Concerts (with descriptive titles such as are cited above for 1931) and an extended summary of the music for each of the two weeks.
