Description The programme and wordbook for an Invitation Concert given by The Handel Society at St James's Hall, London on 22 May 1900.

This was a two-part concert including an orchestral overture by Weber, choral music by Handel and Humperdinck and a performance of S. Coleridge Taylor's, Hiawatha's Wedding Feast (conducted by the composer).

Soloists: Miss Muriel Foster, Mr Whitworth Mitton and Mr J.E. Talbot, with Mr E.G. Croager (organ), conducted by Mr. J.S. Liddle.

The programme includes brief historical notes, lists of the choral and orchestral ensembles, lists of the members and patrons of the Handel Society, transcripts of the Society's rules and regulations and a list of the music performed at previous Handel Society concerts.
