Description A Souvenir Programme, including a wordbook and score, for the 99th and 100th performances of Handel, The Messiah, given by the Hallé Concerts Society at an unspecified venue on 20 and 21 December 1923.

The concert featured Miss Agnes Nicholls, Isobel McLaren, Arthur Jordan and Norman Allin (vocal) with the Hallé Orchestra, conducted by Hamilton Harty.

Collections Overview The Gerald Coke Handel Collection is an internationally important collection of material relating to Handel and his contemporaries, including manuscripts, printed books and music, libretti, paintings and engravings, memorabilia, art works and ephemera. The Handel collection is open for research Wednesday-Friday, and the display room (with access to recorded music) is open with the rest of the museum Tuesday-Sunday 10-6.
