Description
A collection of programmes for a single concert performance and for various operatic productions given at the Lutherkirche and at the Staats-Theater/Hessisches Staatstheater in Wiesbaden between 1927 and 1995, held individually within a box of programmes for German venues A-Z.
The collection also includes a prospectus/programme book (with notes) for the Internationale Maifestspiele Wiesbaden 1963 and a wordbook for Bach, St. Matthew Passion, published by Breitkopf & Hartel, Wiesbaden.
The concert performance, given on 23 December 1979 at the Lutherkirche-Wiesbaden, consisted of Vincenzo Righini, Krönungs-Messe, given by the Wiesbadener Knabenchoir, directed by Konrad Jürgen Kleinicke. The programme carries words and notes.
The operatic productions were given on 3 July 1927 (Mozart, Don Giovanni), 1 November 1954 (Mozart, Die Zauberflöte) and 3 May 1955 (Hans Vogt, Die Stadt hinter dem Strom) at the Staats-Theater Wiesbaden and 22 February 1955 (R. Strauss, Electra) at the Hessisches Staatstheater, Wiesbaden. All of these carry some form of programme notes.
