Description A bound volume of programmes with words and Historical and Analytical Notes (by Edgar F. Jacques) for the Queen's Hall Sunday Evening Concerts, given by the Queen's Hall Orchestra and Queen's Hall Choral Society between September 1898 and April 1899:

18 and 25 September; 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 October; 6, 13 and 20 November; and 4, 11, 18 and 25 December 1898
1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 January; 5, 12, 19 and 26 February; 5, 12, 19 and 26 March; and 2 and 9 April 1899.

The concerts given on 22 and 29 January and 5 February 1899 featured the Queen's Hall Wind Band, conducted by Manuel Gomez. Of the remaining concerts, those up to 4 December 1898 were conducted by Henry Wood and those from 11 December by George Riseley.

Also contained in this volume are programmes for four Sunday Evening Concerts given at the same venue on 16, 23 and 30 April and 7 May 1899 with Mr H. C. Tonking (organ).
