Description
Programmes with words and notes for two seasons of the Queen's Hall Sunday Concerts, presented by the Sunday Concerts Society and given in alternation by the Queen's Hall Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra, bound as two volumes (one per season). Interfiled are programmes for Good Friday concerts given by the Queen's Hall Orchestra on 13 April 1906 and 29 March 1907.
All programmes include Analytical and Historical Notes. Those for the Good Friday concerts incorporate musical examples.
With the exception of the concert on 12 November 1905 (conducted by Charles V. Stanford), all performances by the Queen's Hall Orchestra were conducted by Henry Wood. Information about the conductors of the London Symphony Orchestra is given below.

London Symphony Orchestra

14 and 28 January, 11 and 25 February, 11 and 25 March, 8 and 22 April and 6 and 20 May 1906.
The performances were conducted in alternation by C. V. Stanford and Alexander Mackenzie.

6 and 20 January, 3 and 17 February, 3, 17 and 31 March and 14 and 28 April 1907.
London Symphony Orchestra

13 and 27 January, 10 and 24 February, 10 and 24 March, 7 and 21 April and 5 May 1907.
The performances were conducted in alternation by Alexander Mackenzie and C. V. Stanford, with the last two concerts both conducted by Mackenzie.
