Description
A collection of programmes for the first, second, fourth and eighth seasons of the Royal Albert Hall Sunday Concerts (1905-06, 1906-07, 1908-09 and 1912-13), bound as four volumes.
During the first two seasons, concerts were given in alternation by the Queen's Hall Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra. During the 1908-09 season they were given by the London Symphony Orchestra in 1912-13 by the New Symphony Orchestra.
All concerts given by the Queen's Hall Orchestra were conducted by Henry Wood and all concerts by the New Symphony Orchestra by Landon Ronald. Conductors of the remaining concerts were given in parenthesis below.
All programmes include words and Analytical and Historical Notes.
1905-06
Note: for the concert on 11 March 1906, the Queen's Hall Orchestra were replaced by the Band of the Coldstream Guards.
