Description
Two documents entitled 'Glees, Madrigals, Choruses, Part Songs, &c., sung nightly at Evans’s Music and Supper Rooms'.
After a brief historical introduction, both documents provide the texts to around 130 songs, largely by English composers. Many of these are accompanied by historical notes.
The only dates on these documents are written by hand: these are 8 September 1863 and March 2nd 1863.
