Description A collection of programmes for three performances from the third season of Ernst Pauer’s Historical Performance of Pianoforte Music, given at the Queen's Concert Room, Hanover Square on 27 November and 4 and 11 December 1867, held with an undated programme for an additional performance of this type.

All music was performed by Pauer on appropriate instruments (clavencin or piano) and each programme contains extensive historical, critical and biographical notes. In each case the music is arranged in strictly chronological order (see below) and the programmes conclude with a similarly ordered table of the most influential composers for the keyboard.

27 November 1867: Kuhnau, Handel, J.S., W.F., and C.P.E. Bach, Haessler, Mozart, Beethoven, Hummel, Liszt and Thalberg.
4 December 1867: Lully, D. Scarlatti, Galuppi, Martini, Paradies, Clementi, J.B. Cramer, Field, Chopin, Schumann, and Heller.
11 December 1867: Couperin, Rameau, Krebs, Kirnberger, Haydn, Dussek, Müller, Weber, Moscheles, Schubert, Sterndale Bennett and Mendelssohn.
