Description A collection of programmes and handbills for performances given at the R.B.A. Galleries, Suffolk Street, Pall Mall between 1948 and 1953 - including a number given under the auspices of the London Contemporary Music Centre - held loosely and arranged chronologically within boxes 30 to 32 of the Ernst Henschel collection (1892-1966).

23 and 30 March and 6 April 1949: Three Recitals of Latin American Music (single document, with a separate programme for the 30 March, featuring pianists Carlos Guastavino and Mercedes Olivera and baritone Frederick Fuller).
13 May 1949: A Recital of Contemporary Music for Violin and Piano by Peter Bornstein.
30 September, 14 and 28 October, and 11 November 1949: Four Concerts by the Alexandra Orchestra, conducted by Denys Darlow (single document).
