Description A collection of programmes and handbills for performances given at the Cambridge Theatre between 1944 and 1945, held loosely and arranged chronologically within boxes 27 to 30 of the Ernst Henschel collection (1892-1966).

1. Sunday Concerts
11 June 1944: Cyril Smith (piano) and the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Heathcote Statham (27/i).
8 July and 23 September 1945: Pablo Casals (cello) accompanied by Gerald Moore/Harriet Cohen (piano) with the New London Orchestra, conducted by Constant Lambert (27/ii).
2 June 1946: Joint Recital of Medtner Compositions given by Medtner and Moiseiwitsch (28).

2. New London Concerts
From 2 November 1947, all of these concerts featuring the New London Orchestra, conducted by Alec Sherman.
8 December 1946: Carter String Trio with Leon Goossens (oboe) (28).
9 February (Pierre Bernac and Francis Poulenc), 16 February (Musica Antiqua of Holland), 2 November (Theo Olof, violin) and 7 December 1947 (Segovia) (29).
