Description
A collection of 20 loose programmes (including one duplicate) for performances given by the Eglesfield Musical Society between 1952 and 1984 at The Queen's College, Oxford.
All programmes include a list of the orchestral ensemble and a record of the Society committee members. Where no other indication is given below, the concerts were conducted by James Dalton.
19 June 1952: Steuart Wilson (narrator), conducted by Bernard Rose.
20 May: Bach and Stravinsky concert, with Ilse Wolf, Elizabeth Butler, Terry Penner and Robert Higgins (vocal). This programme was also used for a repeat performance on 23 May at the Town Hall, Oxford.
16 June 1966: James Bowman and Peter Reynolds (vocal).
23 November 1966: Music of the Bach Family, with Audrey Attwood, Hazel Holt, Robin Leggate and Bernard Smith.
28 May 1970: Michael Wentzell (organ) (two copies).
2 December 1970: Jeannette Cockshoot and Peter Reynolds (vocal) and Pippa Drummond (flute).
25 November 1971: Richard Vendome (organ).
31 May 1973: Isobel Nisbet, David Bevan and Peter Reynolds (vocal), Christopher Wellington (viola) and Leif Thybo (organ).
29 November 1973: Judith Hildesley, Robert Hammersley and John Fleming (vocal).
7 March 1974: Julia Boalch, Isabel Nisbet, Douglas Leigh, Alastair White and Jeremy White (vocal) and Dennis Hennig (piano), conducted by David Whittington, Carolyn Brock and Philip Hanwell.
28 November 1974: Christian Hunter, Richard Vendome, Philip Cave, Richard Morton and Peter Brown (vocal) and Michael Radulescu (organ).
19 June 1975: Dennis Hennig (piano).
27 May 1976: Alison Pearce and Robert Aitken (vocal) and Inger Marie Thomsen (organ)
24 November 1977: Susan Landale (organ) and Alison Pearce (soprano).

22 May 1980: Bach Concert, with Lorna Syrus, Anna Colls, Susan Cook, Robin Leggate and Paul Wilson (vocal).
24 November 1983: Spanish Music, with the Spohr String Quartet.
1 March 1984: Handel, Belshazzar, with Helen Marple, Nicholas Mitchell, John Mark Ainsley and Jeremy White (vocal).
24 May 1984: Robert Hammersley (tenor), Paul Willett (horn) and Monika Weissmann (violin), conducted by Clive Brown.
