Description
A collection of three programmes for performances given in Ely, Liverpool and Oxford between 1956 and 1967, held loosely and arranged in a miscellaneous fashion across the ten variously sized boxes comprising the Diana Gordon collection.
This collection also includes an undated programme for a performance at the Teatro de la Zarzuela, Madrid (El Rey que Rabió, given by the Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid and Coros y Ballet del Teatro de la Zarzuela, partly damaged), an undated set of programme notes (Daniel Jones, String Quartet no. 8; Roberto Gerhard, Three Impromptus for Piano; and Paul Hindemith, String Quartet no. 4), and 2 programmes for performances given at unknown venues in 1954 and 1969.
All programmes provide detailed information regarding the performers.

30 September 1967: Monteverdi, Vespers, given by the Monteverdi Choir, Choristers of Ely Cathedral, Philip Jones Brass Ensemble, English Chamber Orchestra, conducted by John Eliot Gardiner (with words and historical programme notes by Denis Arnold).
- Liverpool, Royal Court Theatre
10-22 September 1956: Mozart, Le Nozze di Figaro (10, 12, 14 and 22 September) and Don Giovanni (11, 13, 18 and 20 September) and Rossini, La Cenerentola (15, 17, 19 and 21 September), presented by the Liverpool Philharmonic Society and given by Glyndebourne Festival Opera, with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the Glyndebourne Festival Chorus and Ballet, conducted by Vittori Gui, John Pritchard and Bryan Balkwill (prospectus with programme notes and plot synopsis). .
- Oxford, Sheldonian Theatre
25 September 1965: Vaughan Williams, Toward the Unknown Region, and Mozart, Requiem, given by Oxfordshire Choirs with orchestra, conducted by Sydney Watson (with wordbook).
- Unknown venues.
24 July 1954: Tenth Anniversary Recital given by The Renaissance Society, including music by Byrd and Mikolaj Zielenski (with notes by Michael Howard).
13 November 1969: Law Society Recitals (7th season), with Heinz Holliger (oboe) and the Fleming String Trio (with notes).
