Description
A collection of programmes and wordbooks for performances given at St. James's Hall, London on 21 November and 5 December 1900 as part of the third season of the Curtius Concert Club.
Both were two-part performances of vocal and instrumental solos, the former particularly Germanic in orientation and the latter accompanied by Henry Bird.
21 November 1900: Anton van Rooy’s Lieder Abend, assisted by Carl Friedberg (piano).
5 December 1900: Mademoiselle Camilla Landi’s Classical Song Recital, assisted by Herr Wilhelm Backhaus (piano) and Monsieur L. van Waefelghem (viol d’amore).
