Description
A programme with words for the fifth Chappell Popular Concert, given on 15 January 1927 at the Queen’s Hall, London, under the direction of Mr William Boosey.
This was a two-part concert of vocal and instrumental works with Margaret Balfour and Hubert Eisdell (vocal), Moiseiwitsch (piano) and the Queen’s Hall Orchestra, led by Charles Woodhouse with Mr Frederick B. Kiddle (organ), conducted by Henry J. Wood.
The programme carries Descriptive Notes by Rosa Newmarch and Eric Blom.
