Description A complete set of programmes for Charles Hallé's Manchester Concerts, given at the Free Trade Hall, Manchester between 30 January 1858 and 7 March 1895 (seasons 1-37), compiled and edited by Thomas Batley, held as a single bound volume.

The document begins with 'a list of the vocal and instrumental soloists (with the dates of their appearances since the commencement of the concerts)' and with a list of the 'members of the orchestra, the instruments they have played, the total number of years engaged'.

Incorporated into the programmes are lists of the orchestral ensembles from the first and last concert recorded.
