Description
A miscellaneous collection of programme books for performances given at various English venues between 1930 and 2004, held loosely as the eighteenth box of the Carl Newton collection. Also included is a prospectus with programmes for the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Wien (1985).
Unless otherwise stated below, all these documents include programme notes, biographical notes (typically with photographs) and, where appropriate, lists of the orchestral ensemble.
Programmes are listed here by location, with London venues followed by provincial ones.
