Unique identifier X.439/12016
Description Programmes for the Beecham Sunday Concerts (1934-35 season, nos. 6 and 14) given on 16 December 1934 and 14 April 1935 at the Queen's Hall, London.

These were concerts of nineteenth-century orchestral repertory with concertante works for piano (Eileen Joyce, 1934) and cello (Anthony Pini, 1935).

Both concerts featured the London Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Sir Thomas Beecham, and both programmes carry historical and analytical notes by Edwin Evans. The programmes also include a list of the orchestral ensemble (led by Paul Beard), a photograph of Beecham and numerous advertisements relating to recordings and performances associated with either the Queen's Hall or the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
