Description
A collection of press cuttings, photographs and other printed ephemera relating to performances given by the violinst sisters Jelly d'Arányi (1893-1966) and Adila Fachiri (1886-1962), the majority at cathedrals and other religious venues in England, held as the last of six volumes within the Arányi Collection (1907-56).
The volume includes two handbills, the first is undatad and relates to a recital given by Jelly d'Arányi at an unspecified venue. The second is for a Violin Recital by the two sisters, given on 10 July 1933 at Westminster Abbey.
A package of loose letters is inserted at the back of the volume.
