Description A programme and wordbook for the solo and choral pieces sung as part of the Fifteenth Annual Festival and Service of Praise, given by the Primitive Methodist Church and the Sunderland and Newcastle-upon-Tyne Psalmody Association at the Town Hall, Newcastle on 19 October 1904.

This document includes the words for the solo and choral pieces and provides both the words and music (with sol-fa notation) for the congregational hymns. The texts for the various prayers said as part of the service are also included.

The programme lists the vocal soloists: Miss H. Lisle Taylor (soprano), Miss Lily Fortune (alto), Mr R. Haswell (tenor) and Mr Arthur Lambert (bass) with Mr J.M. Preston (organ), Mr R. Bowran (conductor) and a ‘Choir of 1,000 voices’. Also, Rev. M.T. Pickering (leader) and Mr J. Jefferson (chairman).

The programme begins with a list of the Officers for the event, some Notices to Choristers and detailed Acknowledgements.
