Description
The archive for the Royal Manchester College of Music contains 13 volumes of programmes for all the concerts given by College students and staff, including Students Musical Evenings/Open Practices, Annual Exhibition Concerts, concerts by the Brodsky Quartet, memorial and other special concerts. The programmes date from 7/10/1893 to 1972. There are also 87 loose programmes for the years 1958-1972 kept by the RNCM promotions department not found in the 13 volumes.
E/4/1 includes draft concert programmes in Halle's hand for July 16/17 and 18, 1894.
E/4/2 includes draft concert programmes in Halle's hand for 14/3/1895 and 21/5/1895, as well as 4 undated programmes.
