Description One box of programmes, pamphlets and guidebooks on music.
Includes 52 programmes, which date largely from the 1930s.
The collection includes a mixture of programmes for male voice choirs, concerts held at the Brangwyn Hall and programmes of concerts arranged by the Swansea Chamber Music Society. Only one of these programmes, (the earliest from 1912) is currently catalogued in the Swansea University Library online catalogue.
The earliest programme is for a performance of Elgar's 'King Olaf' by the Swansea Church Choral Society in Swansea's Albert Hall. The soloists included Elizabeth Jenkins, Joseph Chatham, James Coleman and T.D. Jones
