Description Four volumes of bound programmes for organ recitals given at Leeds Town Hall:

* 1/1/1900 - 31/12/1900
* 18/1/1902 - 30/12/1902
* 3/1/1903 - 30/12/1911
* 6/1/1912 - 28/12/1915

The great majority of these recitals are given by Mr H.A. Fricker, the City Organist.

Tucked in the back of the fourth volume is a programme, with a duplicate, for an Organ and Song Recital given at Leeds Town Hall, 5/1/1924, Dr Tysoe on the organ and Mr Wm. Hayle as the vocalist

Collections Overview With a specialist collection of over 10,000 books, we cover all aspects of music. A wide range of scores from miniature and full to vocal scores for operas and musicals, as well as wind band scores. Our large collection of sheet music covers both popular and classical material and includes arrangements for chamber groups as well as for solo instruments. We have a range of over 1,000 sets. They are available to orchestras within the Leeds district. Over 40 periodical titles are in stock. We can also help with reference enquiries and music homework. Special Collections include a Victorian song collection and 18th and 19th century music for use in the library. There are over 12,000 CDs in stock (in the Central Library) covering a wide range of music to cater for all tastes. Video collections including music videos are now available. Registered blind and visually impaired people may borrow CDs free of charge. The CD Central @ Leeds Central Library scheme enables local musicians to deposit copies of private CD recordings in the library for lending.
