Description 1 box containing over 100 programmes for concerts held in Cardiff. The majority are for concerts given by The Chamber Music Players associated with the university and a smaller selection of programmes for concerts by the Cardiff University College Ensemble. Miscellaneous programmes for Cardiff College of Music and Drama, Cardiff Musical Association, Cardiff Music Club and Cardiff Proms. Apart from the above mentioned artists, other performers include: the Parrenin Quartet, Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Marian Fenna. Most of the programmes date from 1947-57, but the collection also includes one programme from 1883 (Cardiff Musical Association)
Venues include the Reardon Smith Lecture Theatre located in the National Museum of Wales (most of the programmes);Studio F in the Cardiff College of Music and Drama;Drill Hall, Sophia Gardens Pavilion.
