These include much material from the mainsteam western classical music tradition, but also material relating to little known Irish composers. The names of the two collections are the Joly Music Collection and the Additional Music collection. In addition the Library has a small but significant collection of music manuscripts. The general printed collections include some Irish ballad, folk-music and popular song collections.
