Description Collection of 47 programmes from concerts presented by P.J. Carroll & Co. Ltd from 1976-85 including the Carroll's Summer Music Series. Concerts were held in St. Stephen's Church (The Pepper Canister Church), Upper Mount Street and The National Gallery of Ireland. Performing groups included the Ulysses Ensemble, the Ulysses Quintet and the Testore Chamber Orchestra. Musical Director/Conductor: Colman Pearse.

Collections Overview The National Library of Ireland has two collections consisting mainly of printed sheet music from the eighteenth to the early twentieth century. These include much material from the mainsteam western classical music tradition, but also material relating to little known Irish composers. The names of the two collections are the Joly Music Collection and the Additional Music collection. In addition the Library has a small but significant collection of music manuscripts. The general printed collections include some Irish ballad, folk-music and popular song collections.
