Description Collection of festival programme booklets from the Killarney Bach Festival 1971-73. Booklets include biographies of performers, programmes for the individual concerts in the festival, words to accompany the concerts, members of Orchestra and choir are delineated as are the members of committee members of the Festival and patrons. Concerts held in St. Mary's Church of Ireland, the Town Hall and the Cathedral of St. Mary. Performing groups included the Guinness Choir and the New Irish Chamber Orchestra.

Collections Overview The National Library of Ireland has two collections consisting mainly of printed sheet music from the eighteenth to the early twentieth century. These include much material from the mainsteam western classical music tradition, but also material relating to little known Irish composers. The names of the two collections are the Joly Music Collection and the Additional Music collection. In addition the Library has a small but significant collection of music manuscripts. The general printed collections include some Irish ballad, folk-music and popular song collections.
