Description A collection of one box of programmes from Royal concerts, 1843 to 1900. The majority of programmes are from concerts given at Buckingham Palace (1843-1900). In addition, there are two programmes from concerts given at Osborne House (1854-1856) and nine programmes from concerts given at Windsor Castle (1844-1866). These include concerts given in St. George’s Hall, Windsor Castle. The programmes represent a number of different genres of concert, including programmes from oratorios, orchestral concerts and mixed vocal and instrumental concerts. The collection includes word books.

Arrangement:
The programmes are arranged by venue, into the following order: Buckingham Palace; Windsor Castle; Osborne House. The programmes are then arranged chronologically.
