Description A collection of one programme from a World Celebrity Concert, 1932. The concert was given at the Royal Albert Hall, on May 26th 1932. The concert was given in aid of the Musician’s Benevolent Fund. The concert was a mixed concert, which included of arias, songs with orchestral accompaniment, concerto movements, orchestral works and fanfares. The concert finished with the audience participation of “Jerusalem” followed by the National Anthem – the King was in attendance at the concert. The concert was given by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra and an unspecified band. Its various conductors included Henry Wood.
