Description
A collection of five programmes from concerts given by the Meiningen Orchestra in London, 1902. The programmes relate to performances by the Meiningen Orchestra which took place in St. James’s Hall, London. The concerts were largely orchestral – though some included an item of wind chamber music within the programme – and were conducted by Fritz Steinbach. The analytical programme notes were written by Donald Francis Tovey.
