Description A collection of 26 programmes from the Scottish National Orchestra, 1950 to 1951. The programmes are from two series – “Series A” and “Series B” – and represent the 1st to 13th concerts in each series. The programmes are entitled “first season”. The concerts took place at the Usher Hall, on various Fridays from October to April. The concerts were usually conducted by Walter Susskind. The programmes contain analytical programme notes and musical examples.
