Description
A collection of 12 programmes from the Master Pianoforte Series, 1934 to 1935. The collection contains four programmes from the following venues: Town Hall, Cheltenham; Albert Hall, Leeds; Houldsworth Hall, Manchester. The programmes date from October 1934 to March 1935. The programmes represent various piano recitals, performed by a variety of pianists. Some pianists participated in more than one recital within the series, performing their recital in two or three of the venues listed above over a period of a few days. Other pianists participated in only one recital in the series. The programmes contain analytical programme notes, which were written by Edwin Evans.

The programmes are arranged by alphabetical order of geographic location, and then by chronological order.
