Description A collection of programmes from the Sunday School Choir Annual Festival in 1914. The collection contains two programmes, both from 17/06/1914: one programme is from the Festival Choir concert at 6 o’clock and the other is from the concert by the Junior Festival Choir at 1 o’clock. The concerts took place at Crystal Palace; the front page of the programmes are entitled “Crystal Palace Festival”. The majority of the programme space consists of printed music for the concerts. The London Sunday School Choir was founded in 1871 and it lists its objectives as “ … to promote and improve part-singing amongst Sunday School Teachers and Scholars, and to cultivate Christian Unity amongst Sunday School Workers of all Denominations” (front page of programme, London, Crystal Palace, 17/06/1914, 18:00).

The Festival Choir programme is first in the volume, followed by the Junior Festival concert.
