A collection of ca. 75 programmes associated with the Old Vic and Sadler’s Wells theatres. The programmes form part of an archive collection from the Old Vic, which is catalogued separately on the Cecilia database. The programmes are chiefly from performances of operas, but also include a few programmes from staged oratorio productions. The majority of programmes are from performances that took place at either the Sadler’s Wells Theatre or Old Vic Theatre; there are a few programmes from the Streatham Hill Theatre and the Golders Green Hippodrome. In addition, the collection includes concert bills which advertise performances at both Sadler’s Wells and the Old Vic, occasionally also including performances at Streatham Hill and the Golders Green Hippodrome.
