An Account of the First Edinburgh Musical Festival: 1 printed volume (30/10-5/11/1815)
Publication by George Farquhar Graham on the concerts of the first Edinburgh Musical Festival. It contains a list of festival directors and performers (principal, chorus, and instrumental). In addition to the programme for each concert, the author provides descriptions and reviews of the concerts. The volume also contains an essay by the author on general observations on music, and an appendix of Charles Burney's account of the performance of Handel's Messiah in Westminster Abbey (29/5/1784).
