Collection of ca. 150 miscellaneous programmes, posters, handbills, and flyers from several Edinburgh venues. Performances of mainly chamber music (particularly solo recitals).
Venues represented:
National Galleries of Scotland (National Gallery of Scotland, Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, and Scottish National Portrait Gallery)
National Museums of Scotland, including the Royal Scottish Museum
National Library of Scotland
Highlights of the collection include:
Large number of programmes from different concerts at the National Gallery (1940-94), many as part of the National Gallery Lunch Hour Concert series, held weekly on Wednesdays:
