Collection Summary

Collection Title
McCann Collection: Miscellaneous (1924-1925)
Description
One scrapbook of miscellaneous programmes, from 1924 to 1925. The majority of programmes are from 1925. The collection includes programmes from plays, comic operas, opera and concerts. The collection also includes a number of photographs of theatrical performers.

Concert programmes include organ recitals, string quartet concerts, piano recitals and violin recitals.

The programmes have usually been trimmed, which means that venue details are chiefly missing from the scrapbook.

The album is annotated with information for the majority of programmes, including information about the date of the event and the context of the collector’s attendance at the event. The first page of the scrapbook has been inscribed “Evelyn M. Drusham. Programmes”.

Arrangement:
The programmes are loosely arranged chronologically.
