Collection Summary
Collection Title
David Munrow Collection (1965-1976)
Description
A collection of around 250 to 300 concert programmes, from the early music specialist David Munrow (1942-1976). The programmes date from 1965 to 1976. There are two sequences in the archive which contain programmes: the first consists entirely of programmes, and the second includes programmes as part of general files of performance ephemera for concerts.
The collection is described in detail, and at item level through the A2A catalogue http://www.a2a.org.uk.
The programmes are from concerts that took place largely in the United Kingdom. The majority of programmes are from concerts given by the Early Music Consort of London, of which Munrow was founder.
