The majority of the programmes relate to the main sequence/Master Series of Wigmore Hall concerts: these documents include information about the venue, words, programme notes, biographical notes and photographs.
The box also contains handbills (with programme notes and biographical notes) for six Radio 3 Lunchtime Concerts and handbills and programmes for various other performances at the Wigmore Hall.
Many of the programmes carry handwritten annotations, which provide Dell's observations on the performance, including a record of any encores performed. Some are held with press cuttings/printed reviews and/or concert tickets.
