Description
The second of four boxes of material relating to the activity of Music at Oxford, containing Season Brochures for performances given between January 1989 and May 1991. Also, a programme with notes (including biographical notes) for an Organ Recital by Peter Hulford, given at the University Church of St. Mary-the-Virgin on 1 December 1990 as part of the Keyboard Series.
All brochures include programmes with historical, descriptive and biographical notes (with photographs) for performances given at various Oxford, principally the Sheldonian Theatre and the Holywell Music Room but also including the University Church of St. Mary-the-Virgin, Christ Church Cathedral and Dorchester Abbey, and the chapels of various Oxford colleges. Many of the brochures are accompanied by tickets.
