Description
A collection of six undated programmes (with words) for Daily Musical Performances given at the Royal Albert Hall, London as part of the London International Exhibition of 1873.
All performances were conducted by Mr Barnby and all programmes contain extensive analytical and historical notes, including musical examples, by Joseph Bennett. Programmes typically include two overtures and a symphony. Some also include vocal pieces. The names of the vocal soloists are listed but the programmes provide no further information regarding the performers.
