Each book includes programme notes, biographical notes (with photographs) and a list of the orchestral ensemble. Where appropriate, the texts of the vocal/choral pieces and a list of the choral ensemble also appear.
Certain documents carry some minor handwritten annotations, relating largely to the performance of encores and including some signatures.
In cases where more than one date is given for a particular performance, all material is contained within a single document.
