Description
An undated programme for the 'Knilgiri Knuts', a two-part performance of vocal pieces, given by Miss Drake-Brockman, Mrs Butler and Mrs Eaton, Sergeant Dart and Sergeant Norton, Major Carroll and Mr G. S. Butler. The programme claims that 'the straffing of the Piano will be carried out by Mr G. S. Butler'.
This document is held as part of the papers of Major Charles Dennis Balding, Indian Army, 1914-42, describing training with the Hampshire Regiment at Secunderabad and Wellington, Nilgiri Hills. This collection is held as three bound volumes of handwritten diaries (referrred to as tracts 1.-3. below) and one envelope of loose programmes, photographs and other material (tract 4.)

10 and 12 February, Laik-ud-Dowla Theatre (near Secunderabad Club): entertainment comprising: 'Love in a Railway Train', a comedy in one act by Frank Stayton; the 2/5th Hampshire Pierrot Troupe, accompanied at the piano by Mr Peter Latham; and a Programme of Music (tract 3.)
