Description
A miscellaneous collection of programmes for chamber and orchestral concerts featuring Harriet Cohen (piano), given at various European venues between 1938 and 1956, held loosely within a single envelope. Also included are two different versions of the Order of Service for the Coronation of Her Majesty Elizabeth II, held at Westminster Abbey on 2 June 1953.

2 September 1954: Bach-Haydn Concert, given during the Diamond Jubilee Season of the Henry Wood Promenade Concerts, with William Pleeth (cello) and the BBC Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Sir Malcolm Sargent and John Hollingsworth (with historical and descriptive notes by Joan Chissell and a list of the orchestral ensemble).

7 June 1853: Eight Coronation Concerts no.8, presented by the Royal Philharmonic Society in association with the Arts Council of Great Britain, the BBC and London County Council, given by the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Sir John Barbirolli, including the first concert performance of William Walton, Coronation March, 'Orb and Sceptre' (with programme notes by Martin Cooper and a list of the orchestral ensemble). This document includes a number of historical essays which are featured in all programmes for this series. These are as follows, with authors in parenthesis: Foreword (Arnold Bax); Royal Music (Frank Howes); and The Coronation of James II (William McKie).
21 March 1954: London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Sir Adrian Boult, including the first performance of Peter Racine Fricker, Piano Concert (with Analytical Notes by Scott Goddard, biographical notes on the conductor and solos and a list of the orchestral ensemble).
30 January 1956: Boyd Neel Orchestra, in aid of the Dr. Schweitzer Hospital Fund, conducted by Walter Goehr (with historical and descriptive notes by Percy Young and biographical notes, with photograph, on Cohen).
