Glyndebourne Festival Opera (1966, 1994-98 and 2004-06)
Description
A collection of Souvenir Programmes for productions of works by Handel, given during the Glyndebourne Festival Opera seasons of 1966, 1994-98 and 2004-06, held loosely within a single box.
All books include contextual/historical essays, biographical notes with photographs, lists of the choral and orchestral ensembles and lists of the various Stewards, Officers and supporters of the Festival.
The seasons were given with the support of the London Philharmonic Orchestra and, from 1996, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
29 May-31 July 1966: Jephtha.
17 May-25 August 1996 and 18 May-24 August 1997: Theodora.
21 May-28 August 1998 and 20 May-29 August 2004: Rodelinda.
19 May-28 August 2005 and 19 May-27 August 2006: Giulio Cesare.

Collections Overview
The Gerald Coke Handel Collection is an internationally important collection of material relating to Handel and his contemporaries, including manuscripts, printed books and music, libretti, paintings and engravings, memorabilia, art works and ephemera. The Handel collection is open for research Wednesday-Friday, and the display room (with access to recorded music) is open with the rest of the museum Tuesday-Sunday 10-6.
