Description
185 programmes of concerts by the Dublin Grand Opera Society from 4/00 to 14/4/96. Performances were mostly held in the Gaiety Theatre, although other venues included the Tivoli Theatre, the Olympia Theatre and the National Concert Hall. Performers noted include Suzanne Murphy, Rosalind Plowright and Geoffrey Parsons. 20 programmes are part of the Patrick Quilligan donation, 6 were donated by Mary Concannon and 2 were donated by Owen Quinn. The collection includes the programme for the 21st Anniversary of the Festival of Italian Opera.
