Description
Two bound volumes of a complete series of programmes from the Dublin Orchestral Society from the first concert on 1/3/99 to the 81st concert on 6/4/14. Each programme contains short analytical notes on the music. The concerts were held in the Royal University Buildings; Theatre Royal; National University; Gaiety Theatre. The collection also includes 'The General Rules' of the society which includes the names of the members.

The Library’s main Reading Room, exhibition area, seminar room, shop and café are all wheelchair accessible. The Reading Room, the exhibition area and the shop in the National Photographic Archive are also wheelchair accessible.
Collections Overview
The National Library of Ireland has two collections consisting mainly of printed sheet music from the eighteenth to the early twentieth century. These include much material from the mainsteam western classical music tradition, but also material relating to little known Irish composers. The names of the two collections are the Joly Music Collection and the Additional Music collection. In addition the Library has a small but significant collection of music manuscripts. The general printed collections include some Irish ballad, folk-music and popular song collections.
