Performers include the Chieftains, Mary Gallagher, Veronica McSwiney, The Stolow Quartet, The Pentangle, Veronica Dunne and Havelock Nelson. Booklet includes many essays, including one by Brian Boydell.

1/3/71-7/3/71: Contains programmes for the individual concerts in the festival held in the Examination Hall, TCD, the National Stadium, the RDS Ballsbridge, Liberty Hall, St. Audeon's, High Street, the American Embassy Ballsbridge and the Great Hall, UCD, Earlsford Terrace. Collections Overview

The National Library of Ireland has two collections consisting mainly of printed sheet music from the eighteenth to the early twentieth century. These include much material from the mainsteam western classical music tradition, but also material relating to little known Irish composers. The names of the two collections are the Joly Music Collection and the Additional Music collection. In addition the Library has a small but significant collection of music manuscripts. The general printed collections include some Irish ballad, folk-music and popular song collections.
